Transfer Scholarship

Hey everyone I did the application for scholarship money for transfer students (the merit based one). Does anybody have any idea what someone with a 3.9/4.0 would be likely to get? And anybody know when we find out how much we get? Thanks

No clue but I don’t believe it’s just grades because they have a lot of applicants with high grades for transfer and a VERY limited number of scholarships.

wait, where do you sign up for the transfer scholarship? and your grades are great man, im guessing it depends on your grades, extra curric, internships, sports… the total package i suppose.

on that note i found the website and it says “The deadline to submit the UT Austin Continuing & Transfer Scholarship Application (online or paper) is April 1, 5:00 p.m. (CST).”

but it also says you have to be admitted to UT first in order to fill it out. so if i’m not notified before April 1st, I wont get a chance to fill out the transfer scholarship?

if you go here:

[Texas Scholarships: Students Seeking Admission](http://www.texasscholarships.org/apply/continuing/CSA_admit.html)

You can download the paper form and fill it in. You have to be admitted to the university to apply online, but anyone can apply with the paper version. At least that’s how my adviser explained it.

And yea I realize that it depends on clubs/organizations/volunteer work and the such to determine how much you get just wondering if anybody had a ballpark figure.
