Transfer school cancelled my admissions

So i just got screwed IMO, but i dont know who to blame, what should i do? Long story short, I applied for the fall quarter, months in advance. It starts in late september. They already had my transcripts on record previously. They had an aug 15th final document , but due to my summer class ending close to that deadline, the wait might have took a bit longer. My transcript "to do" list for admissions had a "recieved" status. The only one was my summer transcript which was "intiated or pending". Well it wasnt until 7-10 days ago that i checked the status they finally got my my final summer transcripts and i assumed everything was done. All transcript status was changed to "recieved". Today i get an email below mentioning the situation. Now here's the issue all schools have limited enrollment due to the state budget, they closed enrollment for Spring transfers too, so I cant reapply next semester. The earliest would be fall 2010. Should i even bother complaining, will they be willing to help? I did everything that was needed: applied months ahead, requested the transcripts in a timely manner, etc. Either the transferring school update admission process messed up or my CCC didnt send them out fast enough. Sorry for the long rambling, but a frustrating situation. I'm pretty much done and was ready to transfer and now will have to wait another yr basically. There arent anymore classes i need to take. Basically at a crossroads on what to do now. I guess I can just concentrate on work, maybe getting the A.A., and my real estate license during that time, but seems like a yr will be wasted in delay of pursuing a B.A.

"recently sent you a provisional acceptance letter that stated your admission to the University was subject to verification of your application information and submission of your final transcripts by our published document deadline.

The document deadline for Fall Quarter applicants was August 15, 2009. Unfortunately, our records indicate we did not receive your final documents by this deadline. Therefore, we regret to inform you that your offer of admission has been canceled. If you would like to apply for admission for another term, please consult our application deadline chart"

Definitely try calling, it can’t hurt and it might help. Before you do, if possible, get proof from your current school that you requested your summer transcript be sent before the Aug 15 deadline. They may be lenient if they see that you did everything possible and that your school held up the process.

Unfortunately, the burden was on you to make sure that everything got in. I know you’re frustrated, but be polite and try to present your case to them in a calm manner.

Good luck!
