Transfer Schools..Junior Year?

I'm not sure exactly what to do.
My current situation is this: I am a junior at a TINY private school (1o ppl in my class).. and barely any courses(1AP course offered). I'm the first in rank(lol dot dot dot) and my GPA is 99.6 ish? i'm not sure.. around there percentwise. Well my mom just offered me this: that I could transfter to a Public High school which would offer alot more opportunities and courses, but then I'm not sure what would happen to my class rank and GPA and all of that. Is it worth it?

bump. 10 char.

how do you like the people at your current school? or is it no issue?

Well, I have a couple of close friends, but it's not a big issue really.
I'm more worried about how it will impact my college situation. lol

Look at the public HS's track record for college prep and admissions: % going to college, average SAT scores, % passing AP exams are biggies. Consider the quality of education you would receive before your hypothetical rank. Strong, well-funded (usually suburban) public high schools which offer lots of APs with high pass rates (suggesting quality teaching) are generally a good choice.

^ haha.
Well, that is certainly another problem. The school was just opened this year and contains no senior class, so I'm not sure if that's a problem or not.
