I applied to NYU for Economics and got accepted to CAS. If I feel that I want to transfer to Stern, is it possible for me to write a request or contact someone at NYU and ask about the possibility of this happening? I know I can do an internal transfer once I'm at NYU - but how does that work? When can one do so if one chooses to attend NYU, etc.? What is the statistical likelihood of a transfer from CAS to Stern?

Thanks so much!

I HIGHLY doubt that they would just put you in Stern if you wrote them a letter and asked them. Stern has their own admissions committee, and much higher standards for admission than CAS.
