Transfer:Should I apply to ME or Natural Science

<p>I am currently study in a private liberal arts college in MN being an international student.
GPA:3.74
SAT:2000
2 Rec letters</p>

<p>I am dying to go to UT-Austin and have tried to apply multiple times. For Fall 2012, I am applying College of Natural Science as my first choice. Although mechanical engineering has always been my dream major but I also realized Cockrell is really hard to get in. </p>

<p>Do you guys think I should take the risk to change ME to my first choice or keep as it is now for a more safe result?</p>

<p>if you put CNS as your second choice and mechanical as your first it shouldn’t affect your chances of CNS acceptance. </p>

<p>I applied CNS as my second choice last time. I assume they don’t take your second choice for consideration in Transfer pool?</p>
