Does anyone know how hard it is for transfer students to aquire student section tickets for football and basketball games? Mainly basketball because I assume that football has way more seats availible.

Next year: USC = Final Four
Gabriel Pruitt
Nik Young
O.J Mayo
Taj Gibson

a spirit card is 160 bucks and it gets you into pretty much all the games. the only games it doesn't get you into are the big football games like ucla. for those, they do a lottery and send out tickets to all the students with spirit cards who won. i've been told that basketball games are never full, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Basketball games started filling up this year - I wouldn't be surprised if they started a lottery for UCLA next year.

But otherwise, I would think that a freshman or transfer could get into most of the football/basketball games.

The lottery is weighted by years at USC so transfers are essentially the same as freshmen. Don't despair - you're not out of it at all! One person I know who was a freshman 2005 (Matt Leinart's senior year) who won a pair of Rose Bowl tickets in the lottery (USC vs. Texas) which were probably the hottest tickets ever in USC football history.
