Although I don’t really think being able to see the classes, etc means anything! I wouldn’t worry at all

@sopfita My high school GPA is 3.2 and I took IELTS not TOEFL. I just went in and took the exam without any prep thinking id take it anyway again but i got a 6.5 requirement so I was like meh, this will do. :P. I chose a design major so my portfolio is the most important, i guess
@avee1999 hey I chose design major as well. Did you use a variety of media like acrylic, charcoal or just use promarker in your portfolio?

Im getting so excited and nervous!! I’m trying not to get myself so worked up since last time I got denied… But I called today and they said my application has been reviewed… On the FIT website it says that the housing application opens on December 1st. So we should get the letters before since we have to submit a $150 deposit before applying for housing… Who here is looking to get on campus housing??
Hello everyone! I was wondering did FIT see your FAFSA application yet or is it still being reviewed? Also is there a number on the cost of admissions on MyFIT or is it still $0.00.

i called FIT today and they told me that applications are still being reviewed and nothing has been sent out but the threads on here from previous years received decisions around this time so fingers crossed everyone!
i applied for fall 2017 and got rejected so i’m trying to stay positive
Good luck @julesnyc I hope you get in this time!! I hope they start sending out the letters soon! I am trying not to get too excited but Just thinking about living in NYC makes me really anxious haha…
NYC is not scary at all, you will totally get used to it! Also the campus is so small that you’ll forget that your in the city!

I contacted FIT and they said, “Your portfolio review has been completed by the faculty and your application is complete and ready for review.
Decision letters will begin to be mailed out on December 1st.”
