transfer statistics

MIT plz
thanks

I could've sworn I posted this before, but I can't find it.

MIT: 319/5/5

thanks anyways

only 5 admitted? so why do they make the application form?
to earn application fee?

I wouldn't know because i've never tried to enter MIT. From what I know, MIT rarely accepts transfers, and the ones they do accept are stellar and have a tremendously compelling reason for doing so.

hamilton plz

Okay, this is my situation. I graduated from highschool a couple of years early and my parent didn't want me to go away to school. So right now I'm at Sam Houston State university and after this srping semester I'll be very close to being a senior. If I ever want to transfer I have to do it quick, and I REALLY want to. I'm majoring in accounting. 4.0 GPA this semester, trying for it again next semester... does anyone have any suggestions? I never took the SAT because I went to a community college for a year straight out of highschool, should I go back and take it? Does anyone know if University of Texas takes transfer students? I heard rumors that they don't. I'm dying for some help, everyone tells me just to stay at Sam, but I'm doing very well there, and I'd like to try for better. Thanks so much to anybody that helps me out...

actually some of the stats posted on usnews is wrong. Like for vassar. The statistics is wrong. Vassar has a 20% acceptance rate for transfers. Even the website says so.

I personally use college board. They list the number of transfer applicants and thenumber of accepted applicant under the admission link. Plus it's free :)

Hnbui,

I looked on the collegeboard's site and I coiuldn't find anything about transfer statistics. Couild you post the link where you found this information?
