Are there listings of the avg stats (college and hs gpa, sat scores) for top school transfer students? If someone could direct me to them that would be very helpful. I am interested in stats for Yale, Stanford, Harvard, Dartmouth, and Brown. Thanks

yeah...not on their websites, but generally from what i have gathered and i have called a few.

websites will say generally at least a "B" average

for the top places, 3.5 is a must, columbia even says 3.5 is the minimum.

I would say 3.6-3.7 if you are at a top university already.

if you are at a community college, i would say a 4.0

SAT scores, high 6s and low 7s on the math, verbal, and writing SAT II

The reason I ask is that I know my numbers are competitive, but I would like to know where I fall in the applicant pool for some of the lower Ivy's.

i have the same question as you, i will have a 3.6-3.7 at cornell while taking bio 101, one of the more competitive courses here

good high school record, solid sat score in the mid 1400s

Many competitive applicants apply to the Ivy Leagues for transfer; by competitive, I mean students with high SATs and GPAs. Because of the minuscule amount of acceptances, one possible, and likely, conclusion is that a high GPA and SAT only 'gets your foot in the door'.

Would a 1330 hurt my transfer chances to top schools? (very top)
