Transfer student admissions

Hi, I am a international CC student in WA, and I am planning on my transfer application. UMich is one of my consideration, but I don't know if I have any chances to be admitted by UMich. I appreciate, If anyone can help me to evaluate my situation.
My situation is kind of complicated, since I studied in high school for 6 months as an exchange student. I didn't get any gpa report from the school, and they only gave me a very simple school report. I took one ap calculus during the 6 months and got a 5 on it. My grades in the school would be all As and 1 B.
After the year in high school, I went to study in CC in WA. I am now having a 3.72 gpa, and I want to major in psychology.
I heard it will be more competitive as an international student??Is that true?
I really apperciate if anyone can help me, btw if anyone can give me some opinions on choosing the colleges, or choosing the "safe net" will be helpful.
I don't have any preference on the choices of states.

You have a good GPA, so it certainly won't hurt you to apply to transfer to Michigan. Michigan has one of the top 3 or 4 Psych departments in the US, so definitely give it a shot. Also apply to the University of Illinois-Urbana Champain and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Finally, since you already live in WA, apply to the University of Washington.

Really appreciate your advise. Just out of curiousity, I heard the UW admission is really though. I heard from my friends that a guy with 3.9 gpa was rejected by UW for engineering. I was pretty suprised by that. Anyway, thanks for your help

None of the schools I recommend is more selective than Michigan. I'd say Wisconsin is second, UIUC is third and Washington is the least selective. Michigan is clearly the most selective.
