Hello everybody. I decided to submit an application in for Ursinus College. I am currently enrolled in a community college , I submitted my application in and had my college send my transcript to Ursinus along with the registrar report that is on the common application. Long story short, on the website it said they are still waiting for my college transcript but have received the registrars report. I gave Ursinus a call asking how did they only receive my registrars report and no my transcript. They said they received a transcript but it was not the final transcript, so i asked the lady that was on the phone why it matters. She stated that Ursinus only processes transfer applications that have the final transcript submitted with the application. Honestly, this is the first time I have ever heard of a college doing it this way. Most of the colleges these days process the application and give a decision, and then when the semester is over you send them the final transcript. So my question is how in the world am I supposed to get into Ursinus if by the time I actually can't provide a final transcript until mid may which is when freshman students already made their decisions and made a deposit which leaves no seats left. Also does this not take away from my chances of getting in? Is there any transfer students that went through this whole process, if so please tell me your experience about it.
