Colleges that I am thinking of applying to:
In State...
UCSD
UCLA
Berkeley
UCSC
CAl Poly SLO

Out of State...
Northeastern
BC

Would really appreciate if you can help add to my list of out of state schools and chance me for the ones listed :)

match: UCSD, Cal Poly, and North Eastern, UCSC
Reach: berkeley, UCLA, and BC

I’d add USC, NYU, BU, Northwestern, Cornell

You can TAG to UCSD and I don’t think UCLA or UCB are reaches. I think you have a great shot! Just focus on your essays since LA and Berkeley are the only UCs that take them into account. Also try and complete as many pre-reqs as you can! I know it’s difficult when you are applying to multiple schools. Good luck! :)

Thanks for your input! And as the for the pre-reqs, by the end of spring semester I will have completed them all for Berkeley.

Also, what would be some good safety schools for me if worse comes to worse and I don’t get in to any of the ones I mentioned? This whole processes of choosing schools is so nerve wrecking =/

Unless you’re loaded with money, pay attention to finances. USC and NYU are not known for good FA, and for transfers even less aid is available at most private schools.

Ucla and Ucb are not reaches for you. They are matches. My friend had your same stats and got in this semester with no problems, for psych as well. Along with 4 other people I know.
