<p>Doesn't mean you shouldn't try Hamilton and Colgate, just if you feel strongly about transferring you may want to consider some other schools too?</p>
<p>There are many great LACs that you would have a shot at as a transfer admit- Dickinson, Franklin and Marshall, Wheaton ( just a few miles from Stonehill), and Conn College. St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont has a great reputation and is in a gorgeous location. St. Michael's would be highly likely to admit you as a transfer.
I was interested in your opinion of Stonehill because my S. now a freshman at a LAC strongly considered attending Stonehill. He absolutely loved the campus and students on his visits. He ended up at one of the NESCAC LACs and is very happy.</p>
