This is my second semester at Valencia. I'm 18 years old and I plan on transferring from Valencia to UCF after I get my AA. Right now I'm in the Articulated Engineering program for UCF. My goal is to transfer to UCF and complete a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. I was wondering if anyone else has done this before or something similar to it. I'm really concerned that I might not stand a chance coming from a community college/ State College if that is how it is viewed on this forum. I have a 3.5 GPA now and hope to keep it at that level. In High School I was in a Magnet program at Boone High School and had a rigorous course of honors and AP classes. Money basically persuaded me to attend Valencia as I had the grades to get into UCF which I understand has a good Engineering program, correct me if I am wrong. Anyway, I would appreciate anyone's experience with job opportunities in the Mechanical Engineering field if I go this route and what life could be like for me after college if I follow this plan. Thank you in advance.
