<p>Currently, i'm senior in high school and about to graduate in June.
I never apply to UW because i thought i couldn't get in.. (so regret right now)
now, I really want to go to UW..
so i decided to attend community college first and then transfer to uw
so.. my question is..
is it possible to transfer after 1 year? or less than 1 year?
if so, am i consider as sophmore in uw?
i researched and i found that if i have less than 40 transferable credit, then i have to submit the SAT score and high school transcript.
i have 3.8 GPA with 3 AP classes (calc, bio, art) and 1 IB class so far..
if i'm able to transfer in 1 year then i'm planning to take SAT again.
Thank you !</p>
<p>Here’s some info directly from the UW transfer website:</p>
<p>“The University also admits applicants who have completed fewer than 40 quarter credits (slightly less than one year of college) at the time of application. However, admission for these applicants is competitive and limited.”</p>

<p>Also look here for transferring credit from said community college to UW: [Transfer</a> Credit Policies | University of Washington](<a href=“http://admit.washington.edu/Admission/Transfer/CreditPolicies#wa-ctct]Transfer”>http://admit.washington.edu/Admission/Transfer/CreditPolicies#wa-ctct)</p>
<p>Do it, I have great SAT scores and I really wish I had done that, it would have saved me a lot of time and I might have graduated 10 years ago instead of just going to UW this year. Oh well! Follow your dreams!</p>
