Transfer student !! help!!!

Currently, i'm senior in high school and about to graduate in June. I never apply to UW because i thought i couldn't get in.. (so regret right now) now, I really want to go to UW (university of washington btw..).. so i decided to attend community college first and then transfer to uw so.. my question is.. is it possible to transfer after 1 year? or less than 1 year? if so, am i consider as sophmore in uw? i researched and i found that if i have less than 40 transferable credit, then i have to submit the SAT score and high school transcript. i have 3.8 GPA with 3 AP classes (calc, bio, art) and 1 IB class so far.. if i'm able to transfer in 1 year then i'm planning to take SAT again. Thank you !

The website is very helpful, this chart shows that transfers have fr standing with less than 44 qt credits:

[Transfer Credit Policies | University of Washington](http://admit.washington.edu/Admission/Transfer/CreditPolicies#class-standing)

From that information, I’d surmise that one can transfer after as little as 1 sem/qt of college work. What year they consider you depends on how may credits they accept.
