Transfer student: high school transcript?

Hey, so I was accepted to UCI as a transfer student back in March and I committed during the last week of May. Along with sending a college transcript, I also had to send a final high school transcript confirming graduation before the July 1 deadline. I wanted to take care of my high school transcript first because I know that the people who work at the office at my high school are rude and I just wanted to get that over with. When I went to my high school, the lady was telling me that she didn’t have my transcripts on file because I graduated in 2013. So she told me to contact the school district’s records office in the next city over. I called first to see if anyone would pick up, but every time I called it would send me to an automated voice message saying that I should go on their transcript website, which was “scriborder.” I was able to fill out my information, pay $12 overall and this was all done on May 31. A few days later, I was able to send my CCC transcript to UCI. Last Friday, I was notified that admissions received my college transcript, but not my high school transcript. I checked my portal and the only thing that needs to be checked off was my high school transcript. On scriborder I checked my order tracker and it says that they received my payment, but my transcript is “not assigned to processor” which I don’t quite understand. It’s been a little over two weeks since I had my high school transcript sent and it still says “not assigned to processor” and I’m getting really worried that they won’t be able to send it to UCI admissions before the July 1 deadline. I even received an email just now to send in all of my transcripts including high school or else my admission will be cancelled. I also have an orientation at the end of this month coming up to enroll in classes and I’m afraid I won’t be able to register for classes because of the hold since my high school transcript hasn’t been marked off. I’m so scared and stressed out about this situation. It’s almost July 1 and I really hope my admission won’t be taken away for something like this. I worked so hard and spent so much to get up to this point. It would be unfair that my admission to UCI will be taken away all because my high school and the school’s district office won’t communicate with me and just send my transcript. The only people that have been communicative with me is my admissions counselor and I messaged her earlier today about my situation so we’ll see what she says in the morning. I’m also gonna try visiting the records office tomorrow morning as well to see what’s up. It’s in a sketchy area, which I have been trying to avoid for the longest time, but if they’re not being communicative through their message boards on scriborder or on phone, I have to see them face to face. Anyone who has dealt with this/been in this situation please let me know. Any advice on this situation will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This post is way too long lol.
Tldr: you are worried your high school transcript wasn’t sent or will be processed in time.

For what it’s worth, UCI most likely won’t rescind you because your hs transcript was not submitted by July 1st. It sometimes takes a while for things to be processed, so it could take a couple weeks for it to be checked off. I remember for one school, I submitted my HS transcript in March and it got processed and checked off in May. Best thing to do is talk to UCI’s admissions tomorrow.

@Dontskipthemoose I know I realized it was too long and I didn’t feel like editing it out so I just left like that lol. But okay hopefully that doesn’t happen. I contacted my admissions counselor and I’ll see what she says about it. I never wanted to associate with my high school after I graduated, but here I am again. I have no idea how this process works though, but we’ll see what happens when I visit records tomorrow.

Just go in person and get it taken care of, that’s what I did. Don’t stress and handle your business.

And, . . . . for UCI, learn to write in paragraphs. Please edit.
