Transfer Student Housing??

Those that are transferring through community college, have any of you pick out your plan on living? like apt or on campus and can you name them

I need to get some ideas

Hey - I'm transferring though I haven't decided on UCI 100% yet. I'm about 95% (still considering CAL).

But as of my UCI plan, I will definitely live on campus - I think that that is simpler and more convenient. I got Regents Scholarship so I have guaranteed housing on campus for two years. I plan/hope to live in Campus Village mainly because it's close to classes and because it's relatively cheap. I am assuming the housing application will require more choices, so I will also choose Arroyo Vista (transfer theme). What are you considering?

Btw, where are you transferring from and what's your major?

Well, i am also considering commuting from my house to UCI since i'm like 30-40 minutes away. I'm still debating since I still have some time to think it over

I'm coming from Cerritos college majoring in sociology

does anyone know where vista del norte is and how far it is from campus

i didn't know regents guarantees you on campus housing for two years??
what was your gpa and major for those who received regents?

I'm a transfer student - I think that freshmen who get Regents would get 4 years of guaranteed housing...

My GPA at community college is 4.0 - my UCI majors are Literary Journalism and Criminology, Law and Society.

crazykumar,

Vista del Campo Norte is next to campus. It's close to Arroyo Vista and the Anteater Recreation Center (ARC) You can walk, bicycle, or take the campus shuttle buses (free).
