Transfer student - impacted major&missing 2 major requirements, will I get recinded?

I am business administration major and I am going to be missing one econ class and one accounting class. Is this going to affect my chances of getting in? I was accepted to the school, however I am worried that they overlooked these facts when originally looking at my app. Should I forget about csulb and go to csupomona (not impacted)

Unfortunately it seems so. Best way would be to e-mail a transfer admissions officer.

Here’s a link:
http://www.csulb.edu/depts/enrollment/assets/pdf/transfer_info.pdf

• You must satisfy all conditions of your admission offer.
• Complete all courses listed in progress, including
completion of the four core GE requirements, with a
grade of “C” or better and completion of 60 transferable
units by the end of spring 2011 for fall admission.
Any supplemental requirements must also be completed
by the end of spring 2011 if you are admitted to an
impacted major.

They may have accepted you based on what you filled in CSU mentor.
I had like 5 courses listed that I was going to take in the Spring (current quarter) and I only am taking 3.

However, they are the ones that assist.org requires me to take. The other classes were for IGETC / UC transfer.

I forgot to update this thread:

I called in a few weeks ago, and the information on their website is outdated or they simply do not follow the guidelines. The person handling my specific application said that the only classes required for this major were Business Calc, and Macroeconomics, the golden 4 classes (speech, math, english ect) and 60units. The fact that I am missing Microeconomics, Accounting 102(managerial) is NOT going to affect my admission (If it actually does and i get rescinded I’m going to raise hell for being misinformed by CSULB, as Ive literally called 20 times to make sure I will not be rescinded). Again, this is drastically different from what they post on the website. My friend who is doing the same major is missing business calc and was put on the wait list, but was just admitted today.

I have a feeling that the school is going to be lenient with these requirements for other impacted majors as well. My major is impacted, but not many people applied for it in Fall 2010, just 140, 30 of which were accepted (25%). It may be possible that not as many applicants were received for this Fall, so this is the reason why they were lenient.

I’m sure the case is different for a more competitive major like psychology which is also impacted and gets 1700 applicants for 250 spots, just 15% acceptance.

The statistics for each major is here: [CSULB Enrollment Services](http://www.csulb.edu/depts/enrollment/admissions/transfer_gpa.html)

I hope this information helps.

i think you’ll just have to finish those classes at csulb then…??!

Yep that’s what they said
