Hello my good friends,
I am currently in my final year at UCLA having transferred in 2016. It’s been a pretty wild ride, but I was wondering if anyone knew if my CC GPA will be combined with my UCGPA to make me eligible for Latin honors? I had a 3.95 at community college, and I have a 3.68 at UCLA (#sad). I wanted to know if they will be combining these GPA’s to bump me into precious Cum Laude status, or if they’ll just use my UCGPA.

Anyone have experience with this?

No it won’t be combined.

Nope. Latin honors only counts UC GPA. I speak as someone who shot for latin honors at UCLA. Still, a GPA north of 3.5 at UCLA is nothing to scoff at. Be proud!

@Cayton Ugh, seriously? That really sucks, I’m just slightly below Cum Laude status, and I don’t know how this year is going to play in because I’m studying abroad.
