I'm not really sure which forum to post this in, but I have a question about switching majors into a limited access program at FSU.

I applied to FSU as a Junior transfer student from a FL community college for the Fall of 2011, and I am currently waiting to hear back about whether or not I got in, so in the meantime I've been trying to figure out what to do with this problem I have if I do end up going there.
I've always wanted to major in Advertising, but the problem is is that since Advertising is a limited access program at FSU and had a deadline back in February of when to apply by, I had to apply as a major different than that when I was able to apply in May (I had to wait for my AA to be complete). So if I do go into Fsu, I'll be under a major that I really don't intend in actually completing and getting a degree in, just something I had to pick to even apply to the school. My question is, what am I going to do once I am enrolled at FSU and want to start working towards taking a communications class or two so that I can apply to the Advertising program? I'm just scared I will get stuck in this major I put myself under when I applied ://. is it a big mess to be switching majors your junior and maybe even senior year? I know I will have to expect being in school a year or two longer than expected though
