Transfer Student limited housing

is housing n campus for transfer students only limited to? MV and Santa Rosa

MV and San Rafael...

yah that's what i meant, one of he santa, is it true that mv is quiet and not really socioable being its mainly for upper classman compared to like the other dorms? and do most students move to iv after their second year?

many transfer and exchange students live in the santa ynez apartments, which are a 5-10 min bike ride from the campus. they are pretty nice and you should definately consider them. you definately won't be stuck with any incoming freshmen...

If you want to live in a UCSB owned dorm or apartment I highly discourage you from apply for the apt. The lottery for apt is separate from the dorm and you won't be able to apply for both. Trust me, it's hard to get a spot in Santa Ynez or El Dorado because tenants from the previous school year have priority over other applicants and spaces are limited.

For the last 2 years, everyone who signed up for the dorm was accomodated.
