I transferred this year from a community college to a 4-year college. However, it's not working out for me so I am going to go back to the community college next semester. Can I have the federal student loans that are suppose to go to my 4-year college next semester be transferred to the community college?

You will be able to borrow the balance of the annual maximum based on your year in school at the CC. Take the annual maximum, subtract what you borrowed in fall (and last summer, if you borrowed in summer at a school that used 11-12 FAFSA for summer), and that is what you can borrow … as long as that amount does not exceed the cost of attendance for the semester.
