<p>In my old college, we weren't really allowed to pursue our individual interests in writing. The school was too focused on the experimental style that the teachers enjoyed and didn't really allow us to explore the genre we wanted to. I am looking for a college which encourages you to explore different styles of writing, and doesn't try to enforce their ideas too strongly on you.</p>
