Generally, what do you consider “not overly selective”? For example, would Case Western be overly selective? Would a lot of state flagships be overly selective? Would a Michigan State on NCSU be overly selective?
What about Santa Clara University or San Jose State University, which are great Silicon Valley options?
UT-Dallas would probably be a perfect fit. It’s also right in the middle of a major commercial tech hub where there are a lot of internship opportunities and job prospects. It’s boring and nerdy and parties are practically nonexistent. It’s also considered the best CS school in the state of Texas next to UT-Austin.
Price limit?
State of residency?
Academic credentials?
