Transfer student needs help

Hello, I'm currently attending Anne Arundel Community College at Arundel, Maryland (I transfered to Anne Arundel from Coastal Carolina) and will start applying for schools and by the end of Spring.

I will have at least a 3.6 GPA, 61 credits at Anne Arundel, and an associate degree. I'm currently majoring in History but want to dual major (or do something) with Political Science and currently looking at University of Maryland, University of Florida, and University of Colorado, and possibly Michigan at Ann Harbor.

The most important things for me is a nice college town, a decent night, greek(im a ΔX), and party scene, and preferably decent size with Nice Facilities is a Major + for me.

I'm really open guy and enjoy doing fun and spontaneous things and mostly hang out with buddies who like putting some cold ones back but are at the same time responsible and open minded. Also grew at the beach at ocean city MD

Any help will be much appreciated at public or private school ideas will all help.

First, can you pay for those OOS colleges? I assume you are in-state for UMd? You can dual major at virtually any college.

So you want a college with a Delta Chi house?

What is your budget?

Keep in mind that OOS publics don’t give aid to help with their high OOS costs (except UVA and UNC-CH).

And, most privates don’t give much money for transfers.

so, expect to pay full freight. Is that OK?

yea money inst really and issue unless its something ridiculous like 35thousand a year and I my dad has a place in Florida that if i needed to could switch residence.

and yes a delta chi house would be a plus, and although around 30, 35 is my budget my parent would prefer a school around the MD, PA, and VA area or FL with the exception of bolder.

Isn’t there some kind of directory for Delta Chi chapters around the country? If you take a look through that, you should be able to get names of chapter officers and/or other members and contact them directly for more information about their universities.

yea there is a directory on their website good idea about contacting them though i didn’t think of that.

Does your dad live in Florida? If not, then you can’t change your state residence based on owning property there. Your state of residency is based on where your parents live (and pay taxes).

* money inst really and issue unless its something ridiculous like 35thousand a year *

???

Many out of state schools are going to cost to cost around $30k or more per year for tuition, room, board, and books.

Anyway…These are some schools in your region that have Delta Chi houses…
