So when I got my acceptance letter in the mail yesterday, there was no financial aid information in it. They said they would send it soon and that I could check NetPartner for any updates on my financial aid package, but whenever I try to log into NetPartner it says

"System Error, contact your IT department for help...

We apologize for the inconvenience. Contact the financial aid office if you still have problems using this application. Thank you for visiting our site.

Error Message:

System Exception"

I tried calling the financial aid office today but was on hold for twenty minutes and then the line died...I only have 9 days to postmark my decision about NYU and money is a huge part of that equation. Any suggestions about what to do?

I was accepted over the phone and I also get that message when trying to get on NetPartner. I think it means they haven’t created the financial aid account for you yet, but it seems weird that you only have 9 days left to send in a deposit and they still haven’t told you. Definitely keep trying to call.

I’m having this same problem. I’m a transfer applicant and they only give you two weeks to reply but I’ve received no information about financial aid at all and I can’t send in my decision until I find out how much money I’m getting.

apparently you don’t get a net partner account until you send in your deposit, but I called financial aid and they went over my financial aid award on the phone instead of waiting for the paper copy to come in the mail
