Transfer Student: School Suggestions?

Hi, I am going to transfer from my current school, Lafayette College. I am withdrawing so I only have my Freshmen year completed. I am looking for a school on the East Coast, closer to PA the better, with a Chemical Engineering Major. I would prefer the size to be anywhere above 2,000 students. Any suggestions?

In Pennsylvania, you have the following choices of schools with an ABET-accredited chemical engineering major:

Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA, US
Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, US
Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA, US
Lafayette College. Easton, PA, US
Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA, US
Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, US
University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, US
University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, US
Villanova University, Villanova, PA, US
Widener University, Chester, PA, US

Note, however, that some schools are more transfer-friendly to students who will be juniors (i.e. completed sophomore year) at the time of transfer).

What is the reason for withdrawing and transferring (since your current school does offer your major), and what does your college academic record look like? Also, if you transfer having only completed your freshman year, your high school record and test scores are more likely to be considered.

I truly just don’t like the school. I thought I would, but after starting up my second year I just cannot see myself completing the rest of my college career here and enjoying it. I got a 3.0 freshmen year, not too happy with that, but my highschool GPA was 3.6 with a 2000 on SATs and a 32 on the ACTs.
