Please chance me! I will chance you back!

I actually got into American University as a transfer. My GPA was a little higher but you have very strong EC’s. Also with those legacies… I would say your chances are approx 95% chance. You have a stronger app than i had

@sftbnwh‌ Are you a transfer for fall 2014? When did you receive your decision? They’ve been going through my application for a month now!

Yeah I agree I think your ECs are really strong (awesome you are dedicated to great things), but your GPA is a little low but you are in the top 30 of your class so I definitely think you have a shot. Also you commented on my chance about going to AU and honestly I wish but I have a three to four hour limit.

@UNgirl congrats on your excellent ECs! American University is very Internationally focused, so honestly, I don’t think you would have a problem with getting in as long as you have an outstanding personal statement. Although your GPA is lower compared to the “American” standard, your ECs really boost them up, and keep in mind that colleges are not looking for just smart students. They are looking for smart, involved students – which you are. Good luck :)

I’m not sure what the international transfer gpa average is, but for people in the US it is higher than 3.25. However, you are international student which gives you a bit of an edge and you have a really good list of ECs. Because of that and your ties to the university I think you will be okay. Good luck!
