Transfer Student--UC Berkeley Asking for More Info

<p>I was curious to see what people said in the UC Berkeley forum after posting this in the general College Admissions forum: </p>

<p>I'm a transfer student who applied to Cal and recently they asked me for my unofficial community college transcripts. It seems as if they just want to verify the information that I've already given them in my original application and transfer update. Should I take this as a positive sign?</p>

<p>Maybe it means that you’re one of the borderline applicants, and they’re asking for transcripts so that they can make a more accurate decision.</p>
