<p>Hey everyone! I'm a college student at Howard Community College in MD and looking to transfer to UMCP (in-state) for fall 2013. Still a long ways away, but not to soon to be thinking about it. I'm doing 12 credits a semester, so when I transfer I will have 48 credits, but still 12 shy of an Associate's. My major is computer science. </p>

3.35GPA (don't think I've taken weighted classes)</p>
<p>-Ran Cross Country in HS and college
-National finalist for cyber security in HS FBLA
-Volunteer at my school
-Work at a summer camp</p>
<p>Not sure if this helps, but my uncle works there as a research assistant, so could that help my chances? What do you all think my chances are and what I need to do between now and then? I'm taking hard math and science classes, so I'm trying to keep up my GPA.</p>
