I am a transfer student with a 2.46 gpa and want to get into the driehaus school of business but it is a 2.5 for transfers. I have been doing very well in my business classes and have brought my gpa from a 2.19 to a 2.46 since starting my quest towards depaul. Question is what are my chances in getting into the business school as of now to start in the fall? And feedback is greatly appreciated
I mean - if it’s a 2.5 then you have no chance right? Because you’re not at a 2.50. You can ask them if they evaluate with 1 or 2 decimal points.
You won’t make it if the requirement is a 2.5 That’s all that there is.
There are many transfer applicants and the simple fact is, the 2.5 is just there to weed out the academically unqualified. No matter how much you improved, you won’t make it with a 2.5, no matter how close you are.
Call them to see if you can get a waiver, but I think your chances are pretty terrible.
