Transfer Student

Hi, junior college student here, looking to transfer in Fall ’06 or Spring ’07. Looking at:

UC Berkeley
Boston College
UNC – Chapel Hill
Stanford University
New York Univ.

Some Ivy League schools as well, if I have a shot.

I go to Santa Ana College, a JC in Orange County, CA.

Units completed: 34 (60-70 to transfer in junior standing)

Major: English or Psychology (declaring soon)

GPA: 3.95 (11 A’s, 1 B)

Clubs / Groups:

National Dean’s List
Honors Transfer Program
Phi Theta Kappa (international Honors society, JC students)
Alpha Gamma Sigma (California Honors society, JC students)
Associated Student Government (ASG), Executive Branch
AmeriCorps Foster Youth Mentoring Project
USAA Collegiate All-American Scholar
Student Leadership Institute (SLI) Graduate
Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges, 2005
President’s Scholar (upon commencement of AA degree w/ Honors, minimum 3.5 GPA)

I may be WAY overshooting the mark here, as far as choosing schools, but I want to see my realistic chances with the some of the best. If not, I’m fairly sure I could get into UCLA, UCI, etc. (they have top priority / admission for Honors transfer students). Let me know if I'm wasting my time with schools like the above.

Thanks.
