Transfer Student

Hello,

I'm a graduate from Miami-Dade College (2 yr.) I still have no idea what I want to major in even though my AA was in Mech. engineering but I'm not a fan of that anymore.

Either way, from the looks of it people here are transferring to top-30 schools.

I did ok in high-school (AP-slacker), and it's only been 11 months since then and I have already graduated from college with a 3.87 and as a member of the honors club they had here (credit overload).

Either way, I'm planning on starting summer at Univ. Central Florida, but should I hold out till about spring while taking a couple classes at the College and then transfer to Cornell or something in the top-20?

Thanks,
Jason

I would hold out. Why not shoot for a top school? The worst that could happen is you get rejected.

I would hold out, too. I start MDC next week (Chemical Engineering). Take some more courses @ MDC or even FIU if you can afford the tuition. Figure out what you would like to major in, take some courses and then apply for transfer. Being rejected is the worst that can happen.
