<p>I will be transferring to the U of I in the fall of 2006 with a major in EALC and Comparative Lit. Does anyone here have any experience with these majors? Moreover, what have transfer students you've known got for housing? Are there any transfer students here who have got Allen?</p>
<p>If you are a transfer student you don't need to live in a dorm, you can live in an apartment nearby (check out dailyillini.com). I used to minor in EALC, the courses r interesting. Beware for fussy TAs though particularly who's named Lawrence.</p>
