Hey all - I've searched all over the forums and Penn's website but can't seem to find too much on general education requirements for transfers. I'm currently at the University of Southern California, looking to try to transfer next year to Wharton as a Junior (yes I know it will be difficult). My question is this, both from an admission stand point and a graduating from wharton on time standpoint (should I get in), would it be best to continue taking general education requirements at USC (that are similar to those of Penn) or would it be best to load up on required, transferrable business classes and put my USC GE's on hold until I need to take them should I end up staying my junior and senior year.

ALSO, say I am accepted to Wharton and transfer, will any of my GE's transfer with me? I have taken classes on religion, ethnicity, etc that seem to be along the lines of what Penn wants for their GE classes, but I know some schools are extra picky about transferring credits. If I don't transfer credits, however, I don't know how I'd come close to graduating anywhere near on time (though I know I will probably take at least one extra semester as is). Anyone have any particular experience with this? Thanks.
