Hey all. I am about to start my sophomore year at a liberal arts school in Kentucky. It's one of the best schools in Kentucky, but I hate it (Georgetown College to anyone who has ever been/saw on a map/thought remotely about Kentucky). I am from Louisville by the way so don't imagine I am a country bumpkin. I'm planning to apply to Stanford to attend NEXT year (2007-2008) and I'd like to know a little bit about my chances if you guys would be nice enough to comment. Here are some stats:

HIGH SCHOOL:
-gpa- 4.0 (unweighted)
4.6 (weighted)
-Rank- 7/100
-ACT Composite- 32
-National AP Scholar
-Various other stuff (Who's Who Among American High School Scholars, Principal's List, etc)
-AP credits-
AP US History (5)
AP Psychology (5)
AP Calculus AB (3)
AP English Composition (3)

COLLEGE:
-I will apply to transfer as a Junior with approx. 80 credits (at least 12 from AP and the others from Georgetown).
-Intended double major at Georgetown is Comp Sci. and Math, but I would possibly switch to engineering if accepted to Stanford.
-gpa-- 4.0 (unweighted) I'm not sure about weighted.
-Honors student
-National Dean's List
-Courses- these are courses I have taken up to Fall 2006 and also include my schedule for Fall 2006. I have gotten an A in them or expect to get an A in them this fall.

Honors English Composition II (A honors)
Honors British Literature II (A honors)
Honors Integral Calculus (A honors)

-Member of Georgetown's academic team (State Champions)
-Involved in various campus social activities
-Tutor in Computer Science and Math courses (I tutor both individuals and classes)
-Computer lab proctor at Georgetown
-Received the Freshman Writing Award at Georgetown (given to one freshman who shows exceptional skills in writing)

I know chances are slim because, after all, it is Stanford. How slim do you think they are? Is transfering as a junior a disadvantage?

Thanks!
