As a parent who does not work for USC, I recommend that all transfer students contact USC housing (phone call and/or web site), to address housing questions. USC does not guarantee on campus housing all 4 years. For some students and their parents, housing is a concern, and for others, it is not a concern (commuting from home, etc.). I sense that fall semester freshmen have priority as long as their paper work is in on time. A greater likelihood to get what you want housing wise is one of the benefits of entering USC as a fall semester freshman, if that is important to you.

There have been numerous questions about the Cinema school (chances of acceptance, etc.).
Again, these questions should be directed to professionals connected with USC Cinema school admissions.

Another thread was the entire question of quality of transfer students, which I am sure is very high given the limited numbers of spots among the high number of applicants.

I have followed the USC forum the past year and have communicated with wonderful, helpful people who provided appreciated feedback to my questions. There are people here who truly want to help you get the best college experience at USC.

At the same time, I want to ask prospective students to please read your responses for politeness, tone and respect. Rude responses have no place on this forum.
