Hi most of the people here are incoming freshman , but any transfers to Cornell?? Count me as one.

i'm trying to transfer into ILR from UCLA. where are you from? and what are your stats?

Im also applying to ILR from Onondaga Community College.....D Bliz I know you're from Cali but did you attend Transfer Day? By the way I'm a freshman transfer, so technically I don't have any stats yet.

i didnt go to transfer day...that was right before my midterms week.

and i don't get it...are you applying as a transfer or a first-year student? did you apply for spring admission?

I'm trying to transfer to Cornell from Phoenix College... I don't really know what should be on the application, and what would look good to the admissions officials. Anybody have advice?

depends on what school you're applying to.....most of the 7 colleges focus mainly on college grades, but i know schools like ILR and CALS like some work experience. how are your scores?

D Bliz....I'm a freshman in college this year...I'm applying for fall semester 2006..which I'll have reached sophomore status by then. Do you get it?

I'm applying to the school of engineering...from a cc

I am applying to Cornell for the fall of 2006. I wil be a junior transfer from monroe community college. I am applying to CALS, specificaly Applied Econ and Management. I went to Transfer Day too!!

SU Cuse..what are your stats? I went to Transfer Day too. AEM is a great school...and from what I heard CALS is preferential to community college transfers. Good luck!

I'm a junior transfer from MCC too! I want to get into CAS for English.

I'm applying to Cornell college of engineering.
I can't seem to be able to edit the supposedly "editable" transfer application, anyone else happens to have the same problem? What are you guys doing about it?

I am still missing my midterm report and 2 recs --should I worry?

LOL EEguy...
I had the same exact problem...
I literaly sat around 4 hours trying to figure it out thinking that I must be doing something worng and that there is no way Cornell has made a such mistake.
Conclusion: IT IS NOT EDITABLE.
You can call 'em up and mention it to them, tell me how it goes...
In my opinion, just print it a fill it up, its not going to make a big diffrence since there is only several editable fields(name, ssn, etc).

I'm applying to Cornell for CALS as a biology major. Didn't go to transfer day, though. It's my first choice.

NJCC...what do you guys mean by "edit" the application?...is that just an engineering thing or for everyone. Just want a little insight...

Its not an engineering thing. If you read carfully Cornell's application page, (http://admissions.cornell.edu/apply/applications.cfm#transfer), it says that some fields in the transfer application are editable. However, after an extensive check I concluded that not of it is editable.
This is just something that was bugging me for a week or so because they clearly state that it is editable.

anybody in here trying to transfer to ILR? what are your stats?

Not being able to edit application will make the entire process much harder (for me at least). Along the way you will find yourself making all sorts of mistakes, being able to edit the application will save you a bunch of time and papers.

Last years app was indeed editable but I really don't know what's going on with this year's application.

NJCCstudent did you try emailing them and see what the problem is?
