Does anyone have information on what Harvard is looking for with transfer students...average GPA, high school test scores...? Any accepted transfers out there who have info on this?

The competition for transfer applicants is even worse than for freshman applicants. You need an excellent GPA (read: 3.8+, preferably 3.9+) from a good college to have a decent shot. Most admitted transfers are either international transfers or students at other top schools (read: Wellesley, Cornell, Georgetown, etc.). Those coming from less well known colleges are often first in their class. Test scores are more important for sophomore applicants than for junior applicants, but unless you have a truly extraordinary record (read: straight A's at MIT), aim for the same kind of scores that admitted freshmen usually have (read: 700+).

What about a 4.0 from UIllinois, 33 ACT and tons of national level extra curriculars
