<p>Any other people here applying for transfer? I'm currently a freshmen, at James Madison University in Virginia, but from Aiken, South Carolina.</p>

<p>Little stuff like that. I saw that the U only accepted 108 transfers last year. Challenge accepted.</p>

<p>I guarantee you they accepted more than 108 transfers. That figure might be for CSE or CBS but definitely not the U of M as a whole. If you have a 3.0 at your other college it’s basically a given that you’ll get in. I got in as a transfer with a 2.6, so it’s obviously not super competitive. Good luck though!!</p>
<p>Am also applying for CSE as a transfer student for fall 2012 ! am currently studying computer science at Kent state university and am taking 16 credits this semester … this is my freshmen year btw ! … also am an international student from egypt … so am hoping this wont be an issue when it comes down to whether i get accepted or not !</p>
