PEnn doesn't accept community college credits? really?

Uhm. Well, that's bull ****.

I quote:

"Students with a variety of educational backgrounds ranging from community college programs, state schools, private liberal arts colleges, as well as other Ivy League institutions seek transfer admission to the University of Pennsylvania."

Don't let them trick you. A community college is just as viable of an option as a four year college. It depends on various factors, but you certainly can find coursework which can and will transfer. My community college has agreements with several universities and has transfered on numerous occasions to the Ivy.

Sure they do. I am transferring 63 of my 73 credits from a community college.

thomas, where are u transferring them to?

Penn's SAS.

They have already approved the transfer of classes, they just can't "officially" transfer them into the university until I complete my first semester at Penn.

my bad, i was conflating my own department's requirements with the university's.

so thomas you have already been accepted?

ok so i just found out my final grades at clemson engineering...and i kept a 4.0 all year. i want penn to see this! (grades and art are my big hooks). do you think they will decide before my spring grades get there?

there goes your lunch money of 5 bucks.

:P

haha very true :)
but i'm living at home this summer so room and board is covered!

still

that's one big mac with crispy fries and thirst quenching Coke!

MmmmMmMmmMmmmm
lol

psh yeah right, i stopped eating mcdonalds after i bit into a hamburger and the hot grease hit my face and burned my arm...

i was thinkin more along the lines of 3 soft tacos, chips and salsa, and a water at the local mexican restaurant. mmmmm delicious

who's heard (particularly from wharton)? I still haven't found out...

ahh!!!!!

so they don't email you?

I HATE YOU STETSON! JR

I didn't receive an email, and I don't have login information so I don't know if it is online yet. I received notification via snail mail this morning (I got in by the way). I'm in at Dartmouth and Penn so far and still waiting for Stanford and Cornell. If anyone could offer any information that would make my decision easier, I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you very much for all of your help and good luck DecisionTime.
