transfer suggestions for engineering major? (please help!)

I'm a female first-year at The College of New Jersey, majoring in biomedical engineering, and I realized that this school's atmosphere just isn't right for me. I want to go somewhere small with a good BME program -- but diversity and an urban campus (this place is in the middle of nowhere and DEAD on the weekends) are very important to me. I'm originally from central New Jersey (very close to Rutgers: New Brunswick) and don't want to go TOO far, but at the same time I don't want to stay too close to home.

My stats:
HS GPA: 3.4
SAT I: 1560 (even split)
SAT II's:
Math IIC: 710
Writing: 790
Chemistry: 730

By the end of this spring semester, I will have earned 60 credits (including AP credit).

I was also recently diagnosed with depression and had a really rough time adjusting here, and my first-semester GPA will probably be only around a 3.0-3.1. I intend to do MUCH better next semester, though I'm still sure I won't like it here enough to stay the full four years. Does anyone have any suggestions for schools I should apply to as a transfer, either for next fall or the spring or fall after that? Thank you SO much :)

Stevens, (if you can afford it). A great engineering school that is located smack-dap in a fun, young and alive city! BTW, I think they would take all your TCNJ (don't know about AP) credits. Good luck to you!
