Howdy!
So Fall 2016 applications opened up today and so I just sent in my application and was wondering if anyone could chance me? I REALLY want to be an Aggie and have been working my butt off for about a year to try to get in (after already being rejected once for the spring 2016 term).
I initially applied for psychology and was denied.
the application I just submitted for the fall was for sociology. My GPA at my current school (UT Dallas) is 2.85 on 46 hours however A&M will calculate it as 2.77 due to 2 repeated courses. It says on the transfer sheet that the sociology department requires a minimum of 2.75 on 24 hours. I do, however, have both ENGL 104 and SOCI 205 done with B’s and I have a good chunk of my basics finished. I’m just super nervous since I am right on the line of their requirements. Do you guys think I have any chance of getting in? I really hope so 
Texas A&M have tough trasfer requirements. Generally looking for an average GPA of 3.5. But keep working and you might get lucky to wear the TAMU ring.
