Again, congratulations to Sporti (posted on another thread already). You guys, keep in mind there are people like Sporti who did not get into a BFA on the first two tries but who persevered and got more training and went for it again!

Yay for Sporti! So happy to hear your news! :)

yay sporti!!!!

Ok, you may have already posted this, but if you want to transfer your 2nd year of college do you have to be a freshman again?? Or does it depend on the school.

Because I was thinking about going to a non-audition BA school for 2 years and get some training then transfer, but I'm reading all the challenges for transfers and I'm wondering if it's worth it??

It definitely depends on the school.

Sporti -
CONGRATS.....so happy for you!!! Celebrate you deserve it!!!

Yay Sporti!!! I'm so happy for you!

I got rejected from BoCo today but I also got accepted to West Chester!! So at least I'll be going somewhere in the Fall!!!!

i got rejected from BoCo too...they dont take many transfers, i have heard.

I liked the school when I went, but I didn't fall in love with it upon seeing it. I was applying mostly because of the reputation and classes more than anything else. Even if I had gotten in, I honestly wouldn't have wanted the $150,000+ in loans haunting me for the next 30 years. This business is hard enough without having such a huge looming debt on my shoulders. Maybe I might try to audition for their Masters MT program, who knows. I obviously wasn't meant to go there and I'm cool with that.

Sporti, did you audition for different programs each of the three years? Or did you keep trying for the same ones?

I auditioned for some same and some different. All together I've auditioned for seven programs, some multiple times.

I auditioned for Hartt when I was a senior as well and was not accepted.

I felt similarly. My favorite part was the dorms, actually.
I felt the best when I went to Syracuse and also enjoyed Hartt. I'm waiting to hear from BOTH of them still. I've been thinking about colleges so much i had a dream about it. I had a dream about getting accepted last night. maybe it will come true! haha
