transfer to a 4 year college

Am in my fall semester of my sophomore year in community college and am try to apply to a University of Colorado Denver in the spring.By the end of this semester I would have 50 credits but when i check the course evaluation at UCD all my credits will add up to 45. I do not want to wait and get an associate degree before transferring because I want to get into medical school and it is recommended that you do not take most of your courses at a community college. My question is will 45 credits put me in my sophomore year at UCD of will I still be considered a freshman.Anyone has an answer?PLs reply ASAP if you have an answer.Thank thanks in advance.I dont know if this is relevant to the question but I have a 3.76 Gpa.

Does anyone have answer to my question pls.

Usually, it is 30 semester credit units or 45 quarter credit units per year of standing, based on a nominal 15 credit units per semester or quarter. So you would have sophomore standing.

You may want to try the pre-med forum with your pre-med questions. The usual suggestion is to take a few more advanced biology or chemistry courses after transfer to show that you can handle the courses at a four year school after taking pre-med courses at a community college.
