<p>Well I'm currently a student at Blinn and by the end of this semester (1st of soph year), will have a 2.95 GPA. I want to transfer into the International Studies Major.</p>
<p>Some may be familiar with SB 175 which says if you were top 10% in HS and earn at least 2.5 GPA in college and complete core courses, you get automatic admission to A&M.</p>
<p>I was told though, that courses in progress such as taking History/Govt in the spring would not count, therefore I would not have completed the core, also that only AP credits on the transcript would count as transfer credit...looking to meet the advisor soon about this.</p>
<p>But, how would a 2.95 GPA look for this major on a transfer app? I know that they also do late admission where they can calculate spring gpa as well, which I know would bring me into the 3.0+ range and probably complete my core credits all the way too. </p>
