Transfer to: ASU, U of A, USC, NYU

Hey I am looking to transfer to a new school. I currently attend the University of Puget Sound and pretty much hate it all around. I am a business major but more importantly I am looking for a good business school and a outgoing social atmosphere. If you guys got any opinions let me know...

1.New York University
2.University of Southern California
3.University of Arizona
4. Arizona State University

Academically the rank is correct 1-4, but socially its probably the other way around.

Socially, the last 3 schools are all great. I would go to the first 2 for business unless I was planning to live in Arizona.

What is wrong with Puget Sound? I know some students that are considering the school.

Well it just doesnt fit me well. I mean its a small, great academic school, but I find the kids are kinda unique. Im just from a HS that is bigger than the entire university which sucks for me. I want to be at a larger more social school becuase I feel it lacks here

ASU is better than U of A in business (but ASU sucks in the sciences) and has a good social atmosphere

University of Arizona is a good school, better than ASU at almost everything, except for a business major.... So I know that the academics are better at UA, with the exception of business.

Well where do you want to live after graduation?

Southwest - U of A or ASU
Northeast - NYU
California - USC

Isnt U of A "Eller" business ranked higher than ASU WP Carey?

I think Tuscan is better, but I think I am going to check both schools out

Well probably new york or LA... but I mean I feel I will have no problems moving if I went to ASU or wherever I go. Maybe Im wrong for thinking that.

All I know that is that I dont want to live in Tacoma WA a day long than I have to.

Great business program: USC
Awesome social atmosphere: USC

Sounds like you have a match. If I got in everywhere on your list, I'd go to USC. Go Trojans!

Academically, USC is #1 on that list.

I'd say go with USC - fantastic business school, great weather, and the social atmosphere you're looking for.

Yeah that is my 1st choice, I guess we will see if I get in or njot as a transfer

USC has harsh grading (grade deflation). This may be a factor for moving on to a job or to grad school.

Yeah but graduating from Marshall business is much better than most other business programs... Honestly, Im looking for a prestigous business school as well as a very socially fun place
