Transfer to Cal EECS from OOS 4 year college

<p>What would my chances be transferring from UIUC to Berkeley EECS. I have a 3.6 gpa and have completed all the required and strongly recommended courses. I'm involved with cs related ecs, and I'm also in 5 400 levels right now.</p>

<p>I would say that your chances are pretty low. Sorry to break the bad news…
Instate CC transfers have the highest priority at Cal and other UCs.
California CCs > California other transfers > OOS transfers
Also, Cal EECS is extremely competitive. I was rejected with 3.75 (instate CC transfer), and some others have been rejected with 3.9-4.0.
if you can afford OOS tuition, I would still apply, but don’t get your hopes up.</p>

<p>There’s really no saying for sure, but your chances are probably slim. Still definitely apply though. I’m an EECS transfer at Berkeley now and I’ve heard of some people with stats closer to your end that have gotten in. Good luck</p>
