Anyone have any experience with this/with CNR? I want to switch into the MEB major. What are your tips/advice?

Cool I’m MEB in CNR too!!! I would assume it is better to talk to the CNR advisor (specifically Marjorie Ensor since she is in charge of MEB) since they are very helpful. I know 2 people who have done this and basically you fill out some paperwork, attend a workshop and then your declared MEB in CNR =)

i talked to motox advisor in cnr. she told me to finish science prereqs before applying to transfer. (bio1a, chem3a,3b bio 1b.)

Hmm, I just put in a college transfer and major declaration application two days ago. It was a pretty simple process. You have a basic informational app and a four year planning sheet to fill out and you just include your unofficial transcript and attend a workshop for ESPM majors. I’m trying to declare S&E but about half of the workshop participants were going for MEB. There’s a slightly higher GPA requirement to declare the major for non-CNR majors (I think a 2.8 for S&E hopefuls, which is perfectly reasonable) and a unit cap (90 units, or senior standing) but it shouldn’t be very difficult to get in. I’ll let you know if/when I get the official notice of acceptance.
